Maintenance

The permanent search for new skins is a priority in our rigorous selection. The finish they get over time is normal and wrinkles or natural marks, far from being imperfections, are proof of their authenticity. Color differences, ribbing or small irregularities are not defects, but natural characteristics of the skin.
Very much in vogue, washed skins are subjected to a process similar to washing with water. In this process, the leather shrinks, which is notoriously inhomogeneous, the pockets and other parts become deformed and the lining may appear on the outside. The color of the garment is altered and stained. This process takes place after the garment has been made and that's why the accessories show signs of washing. There are also some relevant characteristics, such as the fact that it is quite thin and malleable, which makes it more fragile. Also very fashionable are leathers with a waxed or even brushed finish for a "used" look.
  • Before applying any product, try it on the inside of the garment or in an inconspicuous place.
  • Iron inside out using a cloth and an iron with at least no steam.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or intense light, as this can cause color variations.
  • Store in places with little light and no humidity to avoid the appearance of mold.
  • Soiled or stained garments should be entrusted to specialists.
